I have found very little criticism of "The Amazing Adventures of Cavalier and Clay" and of Michael Chabon as an author.

I am particularly looking for something of these in the context of Queer Studies. Is there some way to search for this that I haven't already tried?

Try the following databases for journal articles:

Literature Resource Center   In this database do a seach for Chabon and then look to the right colum for links to "The Amazing Adventures.......

Literature Online (LION)   - In this database select a "Criticism/Reference" search  and enter the keyword Kavalier (most databases spell Kavalier  is with the k and not c) then enter Chabon in the author/subject field. Scan the list for references to the Amazing Adventures.....

A few of these articles will mention Chabon's treatment of the character Sammy and his gay life style.

There are several other literature databases that provide articles.  Go to the following link and select the category "Literature." Here you can search MLA Bibliography, Project Muse, and Humanities Full-Text

I tried to attached one article that from one of these databases to this email, but because of technical difficultiies I'll have send it in a separate email

We have one database, LGBT Life with Full Text, tha specifically looks at LBGT literature.  Here I found a review of the book where Chabon talks about his treatment of gays.

If you need assistance searching these databases, please come by the reference desk or look at the database help screens.
