What you'll find in the catalog
Books, journals, DVDs, CDs & more from UNCA, ASU, and WCU.  These three schools make up the Western North Carolina Library Network (WNCLN) and share one library catalog. A courier service called ABC Express delivers requested books from ASU & WCU to UNCA students, faculty and staff on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays.

Using the catalog
Start at the Ramsey Library home page and click on Library Catalog. You can search the catalog a number of ways including:

  • By author
  • By title
  • By keyword (default)
  • By subject (Beware: searching by subject is tricky!)
HINTS:
To find only on-site materials, use the location drop-down list to limit to only UNCA.
Use the More Searches drop down list in the far right to find more ways to search.
Choosing "Advanced Keyword" will give you a lot of options like language and date.

AQUABROWSER
Aquabrowser is an alternative catalog that allows you to search more visually, drilling down or expanding out from your search results list.  Aquabrowser searches the same things as our general catalog; it's just a different interface.
For additional help, see the catalog’s "Help Topics" links. You can also email us (library@unca.edu) or drop by the Research Desk.
