I am looking for specific websites about films and television series about Roman history. Is there a way to use the library's search engines (which)?

in order to locate websites as resources

If you're looking for films and tv shows to watch online, you can try our Images, Audio & Video online resources page.

From there you'll find Films on Demand, which has streaming documentaries on Roman History.  Also try the NCLive PBS Video Collection for films like the Roman Empire in the First Century.

You can also search our DVD collection via the library catalog.

If you're studying the portrayal of Roman history in film and television, it might be a good idea to visit the Research Help Desk for assistance in searching our Multidisciplinary, Humanities & Social Science databases and locating Reference books that deal with the history of film and television.  The free website, IMDB, is also a good source of information about films produced.
