Ramsey Library subscribes to a number of newspaper databases, which are available from our Online Resources page under the 'All Database Types' dropdown option for 'Newspapers.' If you're not sure where to start, reading the descriptions underneath each database will help find one suitable for your topic. Alternatively, ProQuest US Newsstream is a good general starting point in the above list. If magazines, scholarly journals, and other content would also be useful for your topic, ProQuest Central is also a good choice. It can be found in this list of our 'P' databases.

If you are looking for the full-text of a particular article (i.e, from a citation) or to search within a particular newspaper, journal, or magazine, use the 'Journal Finder' search at the center of library.unca.edu. Make sure to search by the title of the periodical and not of the individual article.

If you find an article not available in full text in the library, you can request print journals from ASU and WCU or you can place an Interlibrary Loan request and we will find what you need from another library.
