You can access books and articles on EBSCO and our other databases without creating an EBSCO account, but if you want to save or download them and use extra research tools in that system, you sometimes have to create a free account unique to that database. This is not part of you UNC Asheville account but is more similar to creating an account on Amazon or Google. So your username need not be associated with your UNC Asheville username but can be anything you want it to be. Try a very unique username and let us know if you continue to have trouble at libanswers.unca.edu
