There are three combination color copying/scanning printers on Ramsey Library's Main Floor just beside the popular magazines, and another scanner in our Media Design Lab on the Lower Level (further details here). Instructions can be found above the scanners on the Main Floor for how to scan directly to email, but feel free to ask any of our staff if you need assistance. Scanning to e-mail is free.

The largest size and dimensions any of our scanners are capable of scanning is 11 inches by 17 inches. As a possible workaround, if you have something larger, you may be able to scan portions of your item and connect them using software (which we recommend getting help from the Media Design Lab with) or you could also check out a digital camera and tripod from our Circulation Desk. Here is a list of technology equipment available at our Circulation Desk and their lending periods.

The three scanners on the library's main floor can also print copies from your scans. Copies cost the same as printing: 5 cents per impression (side printed on) for black and white and 10 cents for color. Students, staff, and faculty can pay for photocopies by swiping their RockyCard at the side of the printers, or by logging in with their campus credentials. Visitors can purchase a print card at the Circulation Desk and log in using the credentials on their card.
