Yes, we welcome suggestions! Although we have a limited budget, we often make use of patrons', especially faculty members', suggestions to determine purchases in our collection development. Please submit your library resource suggestions here: library.unca.edu/about/suggest
Also, if you just need to get access to resources not in Ramsey Library's collections, current UNCA students, staff, and faculty can also request print materials at Appalachian State and Western Carolina Universities. Simply make sure you have the 'ASU, UNCA, & WCU' radio button selected beside the 'Books and Media' search box from the library's homepage, and then click 'Request' for items you want sent to UNCA. It usually just takes 1-2 days.
You can even request items not found among our three schools, by requesting through Interlibrary Borrowing (aka Interlibrary Loan or ILLiad) here: http://library.unca.edu/usingthelibrary/ill
